Day 36/37/38/39

It’s rained most of the day. This morning I was up early. The guys are coming to install the living room floor and I anticipated they’d get here early. They called around 9 and said they’d be here in an hour. They finally arrived at 11:15. Sis and I stayed at a hotel last night so she’d have a place to stay while they put the floor in.

I’ve really been challenged by “fiery darts” this morning. Those are the negative images, and thoughts the devil tries to throw into my mind. I resist them. The bible says if I resist the devil, “ ... he will flee.” (James 4:7)

I’m focused on using my faith the way God does. Hebrews 11:1-3 says that, “ ... faith is the substance of things hoped for”, and that God used it to create the worlds. Genesis 1:3 says that God released His faith by speaking words. He said, “Let there be light”, and light was. God “ ... calleth those things which be not as though they were.” I’m determined to do the same. I’m saying it. Sis is healed now! She’s cancer free! I’m saying to the mountain (cancer), “ ... be though removed and be cast into the sea”. (Mark 11:23)

So there devil ... take that.

Day 37

What a fabulous day! This reminds me of my favorite time of year ... autumn.

We ate at some friends house tonight and had a fabulous time. DL has his own garden and loaded me up with a sack of veggies and peppers. I think these jalapena’s are just what I’m looking for to spice up a few of my recipes.

Day 38

Another great day of cool sunshine. Thank you God.

We went to Peter and Kathy’s tonight to eat. I think Sis is enjoying the break from my cooking. She confessed to me today that she had a strawberry shake. I don’t know why she felt like she had to sneak around to do it. I’m gonna get her some Dove bars and keep them here at the house. If she’s gonna have ice cream I’d rather she had it here with me than go out and get it on the street with the wrong crowd.

Day 39

We spend all day studying the bible and praying. This has become normal. This is everyday life to us. We don’t watch TV. We don’t know what’s going on in the world. We don’t even know what’s going on in this town. What did the stock market do today ... who cares? Politics, sports, music, money ... they don’t matter. We don’t look at life the way we used to.
