Day 40/41/42 J and I standing fast with God the Healer. Many of you have let me know that you are in the same place as I am with your own doctors and what they are telling you. I want to be honest with you about symptoms. I believe God is the healer, and that He has healed me regardless of symptoms. I don’t want you to confuse this with denial, it’s not. I deal with symptoms every day. While it’s true I have yet to experience any symptoms that are related to cancer, I have had to deal with muscle weakness, dizziness, joint pain and stiffness due to the steroids I have had to take as part of the radiation treatments. The most difficult thing to deal with is that as the day wears on I become fatigued and climbing stairs becomes difficult. The doctor tells us this is typical for the steroid I have to take. They are trying to get me off of it as soon as possible, but you can’t stop taking them all at once. Let me be perfectly clear. God is the healer and “by His stripes I’m healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) I don’t look to symptoms to tell me if that’s true or not. God said it in His word and that settles it. We all have two choices. We can simply accept what our body is telling us as the truth, or we can realize that God is the ultimate healing power and turn this over to him. I don’t deny that there are symptoms ..... but I do deny their right to exist in me. God told us to speak to the mountains and command them to be cast into the sea. I do this everyday ....... to every symptom. This is a fight and I’ve never backed down from one yet. I know from your e-mails that a lot of you are terrified by what is happening to you. We are in a position we never dreamed of as a possibility. Here are some verses that are giving me Great peace: Psalm 91......if you read it all you will see the protection under Jesus’ feathers. I really like that. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind....... <back
