Day 51-56

Today (Thursday) I went to Vanderbilt to complete prep work to enter the hospital Monday (23rd) afternoon. Blood work and another scan. I did have something different happen. The nurse that was taking my blood “blew” my vein. I didn’t know what was going on. Apparently, this happens often as they just moved to my other arm. I wouldn’t want to be unkind but the nurse seemed a little unsure of what she was doing. I mentioned to her I didn’t think she had it (the vein I mean). I probably won’t do that again. Anyway...the doc had to make sure that I hit all parameters of the progrom I am about to enter. It all must have been ok as they called later to confirm an appointment with him before I enter the hospital on Monday. I am looking forward to this opportunity. I believe this will be a drug straight from God to all those needing help.

Friday and Saturday were pretty normal days. As long as I stay focused on the Word and realize God is the healer (Isaiah 53:5, I Peter 2:24-25) I am WAY good. Friday night J and I went to a high school football jamboree. It was great fun to watch those kids trying hard to play and no one able to score.

Saturday night we went to a Drive-In. They have one in Dickson. All the folks bring their chairs....food and neighbors. It is a pleasure to go.. J made a FAB tuna salad.......and nope... I did not have ice cream.....

J and I head for the Ridge for church. Great service! The Ridge often meets for 3 or more hours. The Pastor follows God’s lead. After church J and I go with the Pastor and his wife to lunch. They are truly wonderful people.
